Hawk's Nest Lodge

I was met by 2 friendly people at the front desk during check in. I stayed for 3 days. Staff was excellent. They greated me anywhere i came across them. Room was very spacious. Door was a little problematic but the front desk had already explained it to me. Parking was plentiful. Bedding was clean. FireTV was perfect to sign into my own subscriptions during my stay. This was exactly what i needed.

They are so nice. Our room was clean. The carpet was cleaned. It smelled good. It was very reasonable. They're so quick to respond to any problem. We had no problems. I think people expect to pay a small amount and receive the Taj Mahal in return. That's not realistic. I think people exaggerated on a small issue because they're upset.

A room is a room i guess. The bed was big, but definitely was breaking as you sunk in the middle and it made loud sounds of obvious things giving out. Curtains too long and draped over the air vent of the ac. AC worked great!! No shelf or place to hang things. One night stand, one chair. Floor in bathroom was dirty. The wood walkways/stairs are warped some parts rotting. The pool area could use picking up. The office has furniture stacked in a corner. Management on site, so there is that, easy check in, check out. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience, but some of these details could make this a better experience for all.

We just needed a cheap room on a trip. The ac blew cold and the bed was comfortable. The man at the front desk was very nice and let me look at a room before we checked in. I think the place is under a long, ongoing, renovation. Which was fine with us. But expect to see things out of place.

Such a cute condo. It had everything we needed. My bed was so comfortable. Our balcony view was gorgeous!

From the Amazing View of the Lake Morning or Night; The very polite, caring and Very Attentive Staff; Too the Spacious Clean Rooms at very affordable rates! I've visited and stayed multiple times and always 5 star treatment!!! Not to mention the always clean and maintained pool and lounge area. YES!!! Hawks Nest is definitely a wise choice here at the lake!!! To the Staff continue moving This lil nest of Paradise to newer and better Hights!! Your caring and Hard Work Surely has not been in Vain...

owners were super nice and attentive during our stay. rooms were surprising spacious and very clean with a beautiful view of the lake. would stay here again!

Walked in was greeted by a very friendly manger. He apologized for the remodel going on. Explained how he's been doing his best to get this place back into shape. Our room was clean, the place was quite, everyone who stayed there was super friendly. My kids had fun swimming and fishing. Pools were nice. I look forward th seeing the changes the next time we come. Thanks again for letting us stay!!! We will be back

View was wonderful. The staff was very kind, shout out to Becky, she is a wonderful person. However, the hotel was not the cleanest. The people from the previous stay attracted bed bugs, which the inconvenience was accommodated for properly, pest control was called, we were switched rooms and given a refund. The coffee from the complimentary breakfast was wonderful, (I don't eat breakfast so I don't know about the food), not to strong, not too weak. Pool was the perfect temperature, and the beds were crazy comfortable. Overall, I would stay there again, but I would recommend checking everything out before getting settled in. Just in case. Becky seemed to be on top of everything what with calling pest control and dropping towels off in the rooms, and if we needed extra towels, she jumped right on it.

UNDER NEW MANAGMENT!!! I have read many reviews on this place and everyone with negative reviews needs to give them another try . I have been here a little over a week and the new management works so very hard to fix past mistakes. They are a young couple who are both very nice and work so very hard from sun up until way after sundown. They are a two man team and kicking butt to make this place a gem again. This will always be my recommendation to anyone travelling here.
